Rodrigo specialises in intellectual property and emerging technologies. He has worked for several prestigious intellectual property agencies in Spain and is experienced in advising and defending national and international companies as well as individuals in matters involving intellectual property, anti-piracy, customs and unfair competition.

He also has experience providing preliminary advice in order to gain registry protection for intangible assets and in their defence in case of breach by third parties, in various commercial sectors (food and beverage, restaurants and hotels, pharmaceutical companies, textiles, etc.). He is also experienced in negotiating and drafting all types of agreements, including patent and trade mark licences, transfers of technology and know-how, trade secrets and business confidentiality, co-existence of distinguishing features, distribution, assignment, etc.

Rodrigo is a practising member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM).

He has published several articles and participated in conferences on intellectual property and anti-piracy.

Rodrigo has a double degree in law and political science/public administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has also completed several specialised courses and programmes of study at national and international universities.

He speaks Spanish, French and English.
